Vin Nus de Alfredo Arribas is the latest project of the busy architect and winery owner. It includes the SiurAlta and inStabiles lines. Both lines feature wines from Priorat and Montsant. What they have in common is that they “lack more than they add”, as Arribas puts it, i.e. no oak, light extraction, little alcohol, little colour …. But nevertheless they show the identity of the terroirs. The SiurAltas are an expression of non-interventionist winemaking without the addition of sulphites or other substances. They are deep wines, rich in spices, delicate, enormously fresh and juicy. The inStabiles are free wines without continuity, often born out of a whim to dare something new with unusual cuvées or vintages in special containers.
