Prices for Germany, the rest of the EU, Switzerland and Liechtenstein
The prices stated on the product pages include the statutory value added tax and other price components for delivery to Germany, the rest of the EU , Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Prices including VAT are the same for all customers in Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein – the difference between German and Swiss VAT is used to partially offset the costs of duty and customs clearance for deliveries to Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Logistics partners
We use exclusively UPS for deliveries to Switzerland and other European countries. We therefore cannot deliver to post offices of the German Post.

Prices for the USA, New Zealand and other non-EU countries excluding Switzerland and Liechtenstein
Prices are tax-free for delivery to the USA – sales tax and duty are included in delivery costs. Due to malicious activity using US addresses, American customers cannot order directly through our web shop, but we welcome personal contact through our website. Prices are also tax-free for delivery to New Zealand – sales tax and duty will be charged to the customer by the New Zealand Customs Office. Prices for other non-EU countries excluding Switzerland and Liechtenstein are displayed tax-free. However, delivery is not possible to all countries, so please contact us with your order enquiry if you require delivery to a country in this group.

Size of cartons
We limit the size of our cartons to 12 bottles out of consideration for the long-term health of our partners’ delivery drivers.

Delivery to Germany and the rest of the EU
Shipping costs are €7 per carton for delivery to an address in Germany (excluding islands), with free delivery for orders worth €100 or more. Shipping costs are €18 per carton for delivery to an address in the rest of the EU (excluding islands and Ireland), with free delivery from €350. Delivery to Ireland costs €25 per parcel with free delivery from €400. Please note that we cannot deliver to Sweden.

Delivery to Switzerland and Liechtenstein
Deliveries to Switzerland and Liechtenstein are charged with Swiss VAT in our online shop and include duty and customs clearance – all costs are therefore covered in the payment made at the moment of purchase. Delivery charges decrease progressively with the value of the order as follows:

Refund of German VAT for CH and LI customers
Customers resident in Switzerland or Liechtenstein can arrange for delivery to an address in the EU during the online ordering process. In this case German VAT will be charged. In order to claim a VAT refund, please send your bank details (CHF or EUR) and the relevant invoice(s) stamped by the EU customs office at the point of entry into Switzerland or Liechtenstein to the following address:

Delivery to the USA
We currently ship once a year to the USA. All shipments are fully insured from door to door. Please note that no shipping is available to Mississippi and Utah, and that additional charges apply for shipping to Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, and New Hampshire. Details of these additional charges are available upon request.

Customers can consolidate orders from other merchants or wineries at our warehouse for shipping to the USA. A fee of €5 per carton plus 4.5% of the invoice value of the goods is charged for this service. Please contact us for further details.

Delivery times
The delivery times indicated for the products begin on the day following the day on which the contract is concluded or, in the case of a payment order, on the day that the payment is cleared to our bank account. If the last day of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday recognized by the state at the place of receipt, this day will be replaced by the next working day. We aim to deliver within 3 working days to addresses in Germany, within 5 working days to addresses in the rest of the EU, and within 5 working days to Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Delivery to the USA depends on shipping schedules. The lead time can vary between 8 and 12 weeks.

Delivery to New Zealand is carried out by DHL air freight. The lead time can vary between 1 and 3 weeks.

Carbon compensated shipments
All parcels to European destinations are delivered carbon compensated. This a more accurate description than “carbon neutral”, as it is very difficult to verify the strict carbon neutrality of services and products that claim to achieve this goal in whole or part through carbon offsets.
