The aroma of the 2020 Pinot Noir SR from Klaus Vorgrimmler is elegant and beautifully mature. Crunchy fruit of cranberries, figs, cherries, and wild raspberries meets forest leaves and tree bark, with a hint of graphite and wood smoke. Ripe and subtle finesse in perfection.

Palate

This impression is beautifully confirmed on the palate; it floats lively and fresh over the tongue, the tannins are perfectly mature, and the acidity is present and ripe at the same time. This Pinot dances and convinces with its saltiness and distinct mineral traces in the finish. A fantastic price-value ratio is revealed, and Burgundy sends its regards – what Klaus Vorgrimmler has once again conjured up in the bottle is wonderful.
