Wine Advocate
Score: (89-91)
The 2022 Pinot Noir Dachs opens with a fine and intense, slightly toasty yet also floral bouquet of red fruits and tart spices that are a little oaky. Elegant and lush on the first palate, this is a silky, rather filigreed yet intense and persistent Pinot with a tight and spicy finish yet also intense and concentrated fruit. The oak has a certain impact here in terms of tartness and drying tannins toward the finish, yet the wine has a firm mineral backbone with saline acidity that guarantees very good aging capacity. Tasted as a barrel sample in early March 2024.
