Wine Information

Cabernet Franc vinified according to biodynamic guidelines, fermented and aged in cement tanks. Bottled without clarification or filtration. Duemani is certified biodynamic according to Demeter.

Colour

Muted garnet red with violet reflections.

Nose

An elegant and playful Cabernet Franc, aromas of sloe, rowanberries, elderberries, and blackberries fill the nose, accompanied by an inspiring fragrance that is clearly reminiscent of red fruits such as seductive raspberry notes, violets, and roses. Wild herbs such as thyme, rosemary, and a hint of lavender, along with delicate notes of porcini mushrooms and truffles, skilfully round out its aroma.

Palate

On the tongue, the dark berry notes of Duemani’s 2022 CiFRA give way to sweet cherry fruit. It glides across the palate with great charm, with flashes of red bell pepper here and there, combined with pepper and a myriad of Tuscan herbs, which we had already wonderfully perceived on the nose. Plenty of finesse and elegance paired with juiciness – Cabernet Franc at its best from the Maremma! Bravo, Luca D’Attoma.
