Wine Information

The grapes from the younger vineyards and the coldest locations are harvested, selected, and cooled by hand. De-stemmed and macerated, followed by a cold maceration of approximately five days. Fermentation takes place without the addition of yeast, at a low temperature of between 18°C and 22°C. After a short fermentation maceration of a maximum of five days, the wine is racked. Malolactic fermentation and aging take place in steel. Bottled in April/May after the harvest.

Muted garnet red.

Nose

The 2019 Il Corzano Rosso presents cool graphite notes, smoky notes of plum, cranberry, and fig, as well as subtle hints of violet and wild rose. An extremely elegant opening for an Italian classic, with charm and finesse, evident even in the aroma.

Palate

Red fruit with invigorating acidity, we encounter it on the tongue, with a fine saline touch and a grippy yet ripe tannin structure. A wine perfect for purist Italian cuisine. Every sip inspires another, and the higher alcohol content is barely noticeable.
