Product description for Manincor La Rose de Manincor IGT 2024 (bio)The vines for this rosé are located at Seehof, Panholzerhof, and Mazzon, between 250 and 500 meters above sea level, on rich clay soils, limestone gravel, and other glacial rock deposits. Harvested from mid-September to the end of October, La Rosé de Manincor is a juice drawn from the best red wine batches, whose composition changes slightly from year to year. After a maceration period of 6 to 12 hours, the must ferments spontaneously with its own yeasts in wooden barrels, in which the wine then matures for a further five months.

Colour

Light old pink, radiant and clear.

Nose

Sugared rhubarb, raspberries, white currants, and unripe strawberries outline the nose of Manincor’s 2024 La Rosé de Manincor. Apple blossoms, mallow, and rose hips are added to the top note. The whole appears as radiantly clear as freshly cleaned windows through which the first rays of spring sun stream. A sparkling, radiant rosé delight.

Palate

The extract-rich fruit lends it its juiciness, reminiscent of berries: blueberries, raspberries, cranberries, and mulberries are disciplined by the delicate phenolics. With a good deal of force on the palate, it moves in the upper medium-bodied range. Generous with a certain maturity, it is powerful without being overpowering, with a creamy texture and a long finish.
