Wine Information

A cuvée of Pinot Blanc (43%), Chardonnay (36%), and Sauvignon Blanc (21%). The grapes come from our own younger vineyards in Mareit as well as from suppliers who also practice biodynamic and are certified organic.

Vine Information

The destemmed grapes spent six hours in the press to extract aroma and structure from the skins. Fermentation took place partly in oak barrels and partly in steel tanks, spontaneously with the grapes’ own yeasts. During the six-month aging on the fine lees, the aroma and flavour refined.

Colour

Bright yellow with distinct green reflections.

Nose

The 2023 La Manina is fragrant and elegant on the nose. Delicate fruity aromas of quince, pear, and honeydew melon combine with blossom honey and a hint of anise. Even on the nose, this wine suggests the scent of a summer meadow just beginning to bloom.

Palate

On the tongue, it offers plenty of summer freshness. Refreshing fruit pairs with fine acidity and stimulating piquancy. It glides juicy across the tongue, leaving a salty and mineral trail. A wine that is pure drinking pleasure, the perfect accompaniment to dishes with a fresh feel and aroma.
