Beschreibung
Jérôme Galeyrand is one of Burgundy’s newcomers. His origins are in the Loire, and he only found his way to Burgundy in the 1990s. After a few years working in the vineyards of Alain Burguet and Vincent Geantet, Jérôme acquired his first plot of 0.05 hectares in 2001. It has since grown to 5.25 hectares. He does not own any classified vineyards, but his village sites are of the highest quality, especially in terms of the genetics of the vines, which he attaches particular importance to. Galeyrand’s vineyards have been certified organic since 2019. He works intensively in the vineyards in order to be able to work in a very reduced way in the cellar. His aim is to produce wines that are as stylistically refined and transparent as possible. Indeed, he produces wines that reflect his calm nature. They are quietly but lastingly impressive, fragrant and seductive red wines, and precise, sober and transparent white wines with high drinkability.
