Info
The Darscho vines are between 20 and 40 years old and mature in oak barrels. “Darscho” is the name of one of the many small lakes that create the Seewinkel’s exceptional microclimate.
Colour
Intense golden yellow.
Nose
The 2021 Darscho opens with an impressive nose. Aromas of ripe orange, orange zest, lime, and lime zest dominate. With oxygen, notes of cinnamon, dried pastry, and flint are added, accompanied by almond cream and salted butter. An incredible complexity seduces the senses.
Palate
On the palate, it is juicy, fruity, and invigorating. The crisp, fresh acidity is beautifully embedded in the fruit, which is rounded off by a creamy texture. Its brilliant fullness makes a statement and, at the same time, lingers in the memory with vibrant vitality. A wine with pure Burgundian finesse.
