Product description for Roche-Audran Côtes du Rhône Rosé AOC 2024 (bio)

The grapes come from the family vineyard. It is located on the northern slope of the Rasteau and Cairanne hills at an altitude of 180 to 250 meters, facing northeast to northwest. The soils there are complex clayey and calcareous, covered with pebbles of marine and alluvial origin. This rosé, a single-varietal Grenache, was produced from a combination of saignée and direct pressing of the grapes. After spontaneous fermentation, the wine was aged for six months in concrete tanks.

Nose

The 2024 single-varietal Grenache Rosé is an elegant yet delicately spicy representative of its genre. It combines notes of peaches, ripe strawberries, raspberries, and grapefruit with hemp and Provençal herbs, a touch of rock and orange peel.

Palate

On the palate, the rosé is sensual, juicy, and silky, with ripe, white-fleshed fruit and a very fine tannin structure that lends the wine character. The Grenache also brings a spicy, licorice-like component to this balanced wine.
