Product Information

The 2024 Meinklang Prosa Rosé Sparkling Wine comes from vines near Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, Austria. The vines, biodynamically farmed by the Michlits family, are planted on gravelly loam. After hand-picking, the grapes are gently pressed, briefly mashed, and then spontaneously fermented with the vineyard’s own yeasts.

Color/Appearance

A robust rosé with fine mousse.

Nose

The 2024 Prosa exudes joie de vivre and aromas of bright red berries, such as red currants and raspberries combined with rhubarb, pomegranate, and a hint of cornelian cherry. Delicate hints of beetroot, forest floor, and wild mint lend it a charming contour that contrasts beautifully with its fruity character.

Palate

Elegant and playful, it presents itself with a subtle tingle on the tongue. Its fresh, red-berry fruit is charming, refreshing, and drinkable without drifting into the insignificant, thanks to the subtle spicy notes.
