Colour

Bright golden yellow with delicate cloudiness and light inclusions.

Nose

Aromatic, lemony, and intense. Lemon and grapefruit dominate at first. It also clearly reveals a clear muscat note, further intensified by rose blossom. Lychee, preserved pineapple, and peach burst from the glass with all their intensity. I like that. White pepper and allspice add spice, while clove, lily, and acacia are very soothing. Elegant and delicate. Dried fruits add accents. Parsley, chervil, mint, and lemon balm give it a lighter feel. A hint of hazelnut then brings a distinctive note into play.

Palate

On the palate, the Muscat with attention is very clear and clean. Not in the least bit wild, but rather musty and charming. It is powerful and subtly characterized by the tannins. All this results in an open wine that is enjoyable and doesn’t like barriers. The fruit now seems significantly less exotic. Apple and pear – from yellow to ripe – dominate. A delicate, cooling, ethereal side now emerges. The floral side is also more delicate. Orange and mandarin zest define the tart, fresh moment in the finish.
