The vines are planted on limestone and slate.

Vinification

The hand-picked grapes were pressed as Blanc de Noirs and fermented spontaneously in large wooden barrels and amphorae. The wine was bottled unfiltered without the addition of sulfur.

Colour

Cloudy, intense golden yellow.

Nose

After pouring this exciting wine into the carafe with plenty of energy, a beguiling aroma emerges from the glass. Vineyard peach, ripe pear, plums, apricots, and distinct roasted notes of light nuts and plenty of fresh yeast are the opening notes. Later, orange zest and notes of anise and vanilla emerge. A sweet and creamy structure is suggested, supported by a cool mineral note.

Palate

On the palate, the 2023 Into the Light-White Blaufränkisch is piquant, refreshing, and creamy; its fine tannin lends grip, and notes of grapefruit and orange zest are added. A perfect accompaniment to savoury and fruity dishes. An absolute food wine, with excellent length!
