The 2021 LEZÈR smells seductively of candied cherries, rosehip, cool wild berries, fresh raspberries, and a flood of floral impressions—wild rose, violet, lavender, and ivy. Mediterranean herbs of rosemary, thyme, and juniper line its path, further underscoring the refreshing and stimulating aroma.

Palate

It tastes best chilled, when the red berry aromas dance and refresh the tongue in combination with refreshing acidity, fine fruit sweetness, and delicate spice. A perfect, light-bodied and uncomplicated summer red wine for grilled dishes and pasta.

The 2019 Teroldego Morei Cilindrica opens slowly in the glass, intensely floral yet firmly rooted in the earth. Cedar gives way to foreign spices, dried roses and red currants. It’s exquisite and silky in feel, with depths of dark red fruit and mineral tones all effortlessly lifted by zesty acidity. The 2019 finishes with tension, yet it is only slightly tannic, as a saturation of raspberry and clove slowly fades. The extra year in Amphora has made a remarkable difference.
