Colour

Dark, luminous cherry red, dark colour, lightening rim

Nose

Its nose smells – just like its colour – wonderfully dark and spicy. The fruit is based on sweet cherry, plum, morello cherry, and blackberry. Cinnamon, juniper, mixed pepper, and allspice from the spice cabinet join in. It is reminiscent of ripe tomatoes and a touch of paprika. It also experiences a subtle spiciness from rosemary, sage, and lovage. Undergrowth, some fir branches and cones, and a cigar box provide further accents.

Palate

From the first sip, its lightness and elegance are evident. With a high acid structure, it easily breaks up the dark fruit. This makes it appear silky and smooth. The acid peaks repeatedly give it an edge. Fruit and spice reappear in a similar form to the nose. The finish is even brighter, reminiscent of raspberry and white strawberry.
