Nose

The 2022 Pinot Noir “Chapelle 1441” reveals cool yet invigorating fresh fruit reminiscent of sour cherries, wild raspberries, cassis, and rosehip. The beguiling aromatic spectrum combines with graphite, undergrowth, leather, beetroot, and a hint of licorice and truffle. The Burgundian precision of Domaine Trapet is also unmistakably evident in this representative from Alsace.

Palate

On the palate, seductive raspberry and cherry notes flash up in combination with invigorating acidity and extremely fine tannins; here, too, a cool and invigoratingly fresh structure is unmistakable. The fine aftertaste is characterized by saltiness and finesse and loves the combination with fine cuisine.
