Wine Information

The Ambre Jaune 2021 is an orange wine made from Riesling with a little Pinot Blanc from Riquewihr and Beblenheim, macerated on the skins for about two weeks and then aged in used demi-muids and in pieces.

Colour

Intense, clear golden yellow

Nose

Although the wine appears to be so deep in colour, the nose of the Ambre Jaune is almost subtle. It smells of vanilla, lemon and lemon peel, a hint of apple and apple peel, ivy, and saffron. However, one senses a certain depth and fullness, and with air and warmth, notes of black tea and wax open up.

Palate

On the palate, the Ambre Jaune unfolds a wonderful perfume. Indeed, the wine presents a certain opulence that fills the mouth. The phenolics also provide a distinctive yet delicate texture. The wine remains lively and fresh. It captivates with aromatics that are somewhat reminiscent of Gewürztraminer in their expressiveness.
