Wine Information
This blend of 90% Corinto and 10% Nero d’Avola is grown at an altitude of 350 m on volcanic and sandy soil. Spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels for one year, followed by stabilization in steel tanks. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Muted cherry red with delicate brick-red reflections.
Nose
The 2018 Nero Ossidiana is a beautifully mature red wine blend with aromas of ripe wild raspberries, cranberries, blackberries, and plum jam. The fruity aroma is enveloped by smoky notes reminiscent of light tobacco, cedarwood, freshly cracked pepper, and grilled meat. A hint of chocolate is also present – a truly charming Sicilian wine with finesse.
Palate
On the palate, it indulges with plenty of fruit, stimulating acidity, powerful minerality, and a fine-grained yet pleasantly challenging tannin structure. A perfect accompaniment to down-to-earth, tasty, intense, Italian-inspired cuisine.
