Nose

The 2017 Cottá from Azienda Agricola Sottimano is as complex on the nose as puff pastry. The red fruit aromas of cherries and berries are airily complemented by vegetal, herbal notes of marjoram, thyme, and fine wood spice reminiscent of sandalwood and vetiver. Black tea, dark tobacco, and dried cherries in the overtones crown the icing on the cake’s final slice.
