Product description for Pranzegg Fuori Serie MMXV, rosso 2015 Pranzegg is a small winery on the steep slopes above Bolzano in South Tyrol. The conversion to organic farming was and remains the logical consequence of the entire family’s approach to life. Martin Gojer, with his own unique style and without much fanfare, swims against the South Tyrolean mainstream. The young winemaker has been responsible for cultivation and winemaking since 2009. Through keen intuition and sensitivity in the vineyard and cellar, he creates distinctive, profound wines that reflect the soil, the vintage, and the winemaker’s vision. Martin Gojer is particularly fond of the local red varieties Vernatsch and Lagrein. They are fermented spontaneously and very slowly, aged in large wooden barrels, and bottled without fining or filtration. Martin Gojer’s wines are full of vitality, fulfilling exactly what one would expect from good wine: after the first glass, a desire for more.
