Nose

The nose is extremely sublime. Black fruits such as blackberry and plum, with hints of cassis and elderberry, characterize this noble Sangiovese. A dark, chocolatey nuance crowns the aroma. Spices such as cinnamon and juniper, but above all delicately integrated licorice, complement this. A hint of leather and a delicate roasted aroma are also noticeable. The wood seems perfectly integrated.

Palate

On the palate, the Sangiovese is cool and racy. It has mineral components and perfectly integrated tannins. The tannins are gripping, yet soft and ripe. It spreads out, filling the mouth and providing a very harmonious finish. The tannins grip the palate and don’t let go, thus allowing for a seemingly endless finish. The aromas on the nose are wonderfully presented. It appears very meaty, accompanied by a delicate licorice note, and immediately whets the appetite.
