Nose

The 2023 Pinot Blanc presents fruity notes of pear, quince, apple, and honeydew melon. Aromas of fresh white bread and almonds, along with a hint of anise, lend it charm. The typicality of the grape variety has been wonderfully brought out, and you look forward to the first sip.

Palate

The impression of the nose is beautifully reflected on the palate: bright fruit, delicate fruit sweetness, and freshness combine with piquant and stimulating spice in the finish. A true all-rounder that goes perfectly with a variety of dishes!

From loess and loam soils, the 2023 Weisser Burgunder trocken is pure, fresh and elegant on the nose. This is a medium-bodied, moderately powerful and savory Pinot Blanc with a straight yet also textured character. 12.5% stated alcohol. Diam 10. Tasted at the domaine in January 2025.

Made entirely in stainless steel, the 2023 Weissburgunder was picked mainly on calcareous loess and loam between Siebeldingen and Godramstein. A crackle of flint, wet walnut and bright, green pear notes make for a most appetizing nose. The palate is slender and sprightly, carrying its flinty, juicy notions on a light, bone-dry body. A lovely, slightly pithy texture rings long. (Bone-dry)
