Colour

Radiant, bright golden yellow

Nose

Delightful, crystal-clear, very appealing aroma. Lavish floral notes and equally rich fruit on the nose. Lots of roses, Amalfi lemons, pink grapefruit, cuquats, and Traminer grapes. Mustard seeds, saffron, curry, and fennel. Smoky, bacony aromas give the entire cocktail of flavours an additional spiciness without seeming baroque.

Palate

The taste is also convincing from the first sip. Deep, densely powerful, rich, and saturated. With distinct bitter tones that are not overpowering, however. The creamy flow has little acidity, giving the wine even more fullness, hints of bacon and meat. These curves may not appear entirely elegant and racy, but they fully serve their purpose in terms of taste. I believe that wines of this variety are unfairly maligned. Copyright: Paula Bosch
