Every year, a miracle of balance between alcohol, acidity, and sugar. 11% vol. with 7.3g/l acidity and just 1.2g/l residual sugar are absolutely exciting values. A pure, natural wine without additives. After six months of maturation, the wine is bottled on a fruit day according to the lunar calendar.

Colour

Light straw yellow with light and green reflections.

Nose

Year after year, one of my favorites in tastings. The nose is so wonderfully varied. Coriander, mint, and lemongrass transport you to the cuisine of the Far East. There’s also plenty of fennel, anise, and nettle. A touch of lychee, lemon, and grapefruit provide a pleasantly balanced fruitiness. This is further complemented by fresh pears and green apples.

Palate

This Muscat presents itself far from kitsch and fruit. Completely lacking in aroma, it’s incredibly exciting. It’s taut and stony, carried by a strong acidity and endowed with ample length. Its finesse is present and ramrod straight. The fruit barely makes an appearance, giving it no chance to become boring. It’s far too racy for that. The ethereal nuances lend it a freshness kick or two.
