Product description for Meinklang Foam Vulkan, Petnat 2024 (bio)
Product Information
A Pétillant Naturel made from the Hungarian grape varieties Hárslevelü and Juhfark. Harvested in Somló, Hungary, and vinified by the Michlits family on Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland.
Color/Appearance
Cloudy golden yellow; incredibly fine perlage.
Nose
The Foam Vulkán is a real bomb, smelling of Amalfi lemons, pear, mango, blossom honey, dried pastries, wine yeast, countless blossoms, rough stone, and fresh herbs—you’ll want to try it immediately.
Palate
Meinklang has once again succeeded in bottling a product you can’t get enough of. A tremendous flow, juicy fruit, subtle tartness, stimulating carbonation, and a yeasty density in the finish. Can be drunk well chilled in large quantities, at any time of day, at any outside temperature and with almost any meal.
