Intense straw yellow with subtle cloudiness.

Nose

Yellow fruit with chubby red cheeks, it smiles at you from the glass. Yellow and red ripe apples mingle with medlars and mirabelle plums, underpinned by herbal spices, sage, and chervil, as well as subtle yeasty notes.

Palate

On the palate, Fred Loimer’s Gluegglich is juicy with a tightly cinched phenolic core and a taut crown. Everything is in the right place: the finely tart tannins, the ripe acidity, and the distinctively tart fruit combine to create a rapid drinking pleasure from the genre of everyday, unrepentant pleasures.
