Wine Information

This is the house’s local wine. A 100% Syrah from Beaumont-Monteux with plots on clay and limestone terraces. The yield is usually around 45 hl/ha. After complete destemming, the Syrah is fermented spontaneously in raw concrete. The maceration lasts between two and three weeks. The grapes are then pressed vertically with low pressure. All movement in the winery is carried out by gravity. The wine is also aged in concrete.

Nose

The Beaumont always has an expressive nose, which is really sexy if you like Syrah. It smells of violet pastilles, lavender, a touch of smoke, bresaola, as well as ripe blackberries, mulberries and plums, elderberry and cassis with a touch of cinnamon and licorice.

Palate

On the palate, the Beaumont is a pure delight, with its juicy, fresh fruit, punctuated by a lively, crisp acidity. The tannin is present, adding structure and texture, but not overly intrusive. Instead, notes of licorice and a touch of pepper are present, lending the fruit the necessary spice.
