Medium cloudy lemon yellow with distinct green reflections.
Nose
Lemon, lemon balm, green apple, eucalyptus, and sage dominate the opening. Cool freshness practically leaps from the glass and, after decanting and reaching the large Burgundy glass, mingle with crushed rock notes. Ethereal hints reminiscent of lemon oil, pickled fruits, and herbs are also beautifully present.
Palate
The palate impresses with crisp freshness and a crystal-clear structure; the acidity practically vibrates in the 2021 Riesling Riede S. “This is not a love song” and leaves a salty trace on the tongue. A wine that perfectly whets the appetite, and you’ll fall a little bit in love with its captivating character and finesse, which comes in at just 11% ABV.
