Habla No. 30 is a red wine made from the Syrah grape variety. The vines grow on clay and limestone soils in the southwest Spanish region of Extremadura. The name translates as “extremely hard,” which says a lot about the continental climate there with its extremely hot summer days. Despite this, Bodegas Habla succeeds in producing wines that are not only sun-drenched but also fresh. The grapes for Habla No. 30 come from organic farming. The wine was aged for 12 months in French barriques.

This red wine offers an intense and complex bouquet of dark fruits, tobacco notes, Mediterranean herbal aromas, and spicy hints. The nose is well balanced, and the diverse aromas blend harmoniously.

Palate

The Habla No. 30 is powerful and racy on the palate, just as one would expect from a Spanish red wine. It has a velvety texture and ripe, mouth-filling tannins. The aromatic impression of dark fruits and spicy notes continues on the palate, and the finish is very long. The beauty of this wine is also its freshness; there is nothing jammy about it, as is often the case with strong Spanish wines. The alcohol content of 14 percent is not excessive for a region like Extremadura, but rather moderate, excellently balanced and integrated.
