Product description for Georg Meissner Vindemiatrix VdF 2021 (bio)Dr. Georg Meißner is one of the most important scientists and consultants in the field of biodynamic viticulture. His research takes place on-site, specifically in the vineyards, but also in long-term experimental series at the Geisenheim University and Research Institute. During his apprenticeship as a viticulture expert, he learned to know and love Roussillon. Over time, he acquired two vineyards there that would otherwise have been cleared. He lives with his family in South Tyrol, where he has worked for Alois Lageder, among others. Although he regularly visits Roussillon, he works closely with Flo Busch, who manages his vineyards. They even share the cellar. Preserving the over 100-year-old Carignan and Grenache vineyards and the wine produced from them is and remains a matter of the heart.
