Wine Information

65% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella, grown on limestone at an altitude of 220-300 m on the hills of Illasi.

Colour/Appearance

Bright ruby red with distinct mahogany highlights towards the rim.

Nose

The 2015 Tenuta Fraune Valpolicella Classico is beautifully mature and has an engaging and seductive aroma of plums, cranberries, dried figs, and raisins. The mellow fruit is underpinned by notes of cedarwood, cinnamon, wood smoke, and milk chocolate.

Palate

The taste offers fine fruit sweetness, beautifully mature tannins, and invigorating acidity. A wine that pairs well with dishes with fruity, spicy, and piquant flavours. Enjoy lightly chilled from large glasses.
