Wine Information

The Rosé Brut Nature is a single-varietal Pinot Noir from organically farmed vineyards near Urville on Jura’s Kimmeridge limestone soils. The rosé is produced using the saignée method. It has not been filtered or dosage added. The champagne contains less than 40 mg/l of sulfites. The disgorgement date is engraved on the bottom of the bottle.

Colour

Deep salmon pink with coppery highlights, lively mousse.

Nose

The champagne is a typical saignée with a blend of wild berry and sour cherry fruit and rather earthy and stony notes. There are also hints of rapeseed and cherry stones.

Taste

On the palate, the fruit of raspberries, plums, cherries, and red currants blends with yeast, smoky ground stone, and a hint of pepper. The Rosé Brut Nature is juicy and taut, with a good portion of fine tannins, making it an ideal food companion.

(all Pinot Noir; no dosage; LY31340DG12/12): Pale orange. Mineral-accented red berries and citrus fruits on the nose, complemented by hints of candied rose and white pepper. Stony and precise, offering lively strawberry and orange zest flavors that expand slowly with air. Closes spicy, stony and tight, with very good clarity and floral persistence.
