At the beginning of the 1980s, no heirs emerged from the Pira family’s family tree. The Boschis ensured the continuation of the winemaking tradition. The Boschis have had deep roots in the renowned Barolo wine-growing region since the mid-18th century. With Chiara and Giorgio Boschis currently in charge, they represent the ninth generation. One of the Boschis’ self-imposed goals is to pay the greatest possible attention to the vines. To protect and preserve the environment and nature as best as possible, the Boschis follow the guidelines of organic viticulture. Work in the cellar is almost secondary, as they wholeheartedly allow nature to take its course and exert as little influence as possible on the developing wine.
