Product description for Chêne Bleu Le Rosé IGP 2024 (bio)
Wine Information
This rosé is made from a direct pressing of around two-thirds Grenache Noir with Syrah and Mourvèdre. The Grenache, in particular, comes from 60-year-old vines located at approximately 530 meters above sea level. The Syrah and Mourvèdre are around 10 years old and grow at a similar altitude in clay and limestone. Fermented spontaneously and aged in used barrels.
Color
Pale, clear rosé.
Nose
With Le Rosé, Chêne Bleu brings a classic Provence rosé to the table, benefiting from high-altitude vineyards. It appears juicy and fresh with intense notes of red currants, grapefruit, peaches, and mirabelle plums, with a hint of herbs and white flowers.
Palate
On the palate, the wine combines juiciness and freshness with the power and depth of the South. Le Rosé appears balanced, quite opulent, yet precise with plenty of red fruit, citrus notes, a mineral component, and structure. It is a flattering rosé with plenty of charm, a chalky texture, and a juicy, mouthwatering finish. It tastes like more.
