Description
God knows that Provence is not lacking in fantastically beautiful places. But anyone who has ever visited Château de Pibarnon in the Bandol appellation knows the magic of this estate and its terraced vineyards, from which one can see the nearby Mediterranean Sea. In 1989, Eric de Saint Victor took over the management of the estate from his father, and he has developed it into one of the best in Provence. The qualified biologist runs the winery organically with biodynamic elements. Five wines are produced in the old cellar vaults, a rare Bandol Blanc and those wines for which the appellation is world-famous: Bandol Rouge and Bandol Rosé, each vin de garde made from 100% Mourvèdre, as well as cuvées that open much earlier.
