Wine Information

Petite Lily is a Bordeaux Sec made from 100% limestone Sémillon. The wine comes from the youngest vines and was aged in stainless steel.

Colour

Light straw yellow

Nose

The 2023 Petite Lily is a fresh, single-varietal Sémillon that is best drunk young. The wine smells of white flowers, greengage, fresh apples, and various citrus fruits. The 2023 vintage appears even fresher than the 2022, showing a hint of verbena and lemon mint but hardly any of the waxy aroma typical of the variety.

Taste

On the palate, the Bordeaux Blanc sec is similarly fresh and juicy, yet silky and sensual. It’s a Sémillon that strikes a good balance between a ripe and lively, yet not overly demanding acidity and a creamy texture. Petite Lily is intended as a “wine for every occasion,” and that’s exactly how it presents itself.
