Wine Information

The hand-picked grapes were spontaneously fermented in local oak barrels and then bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Colour

Muted, dark cherry red with subtle lightening towards the rim.

Nose

The aroma of the 2022 Neuenahrer Sonnenberg Frühburgunder reveals juicy cherry, plum, a hint of cassis, plum, and pomegranate. Upon contact with oxygen, fresh herbs, a hint of vanilla, and graphite join the fruity aromas. A self-contained wine that is extremely inviting.

Palate

Juicy, fruit-forward, and extremely charming, it glides across the tongue and immediately captivates the taster with its polished structure and delicate fruit sweetness. Dishes that offer an exciting contrast with spiciness and acidity love this wine. Enjoy lightly chilled, decanted from Burgundy glasses.
