Domaine Albert Mann is the merger of two great winemaking families: the Mann family, who have been growing wine since the early 17th century, and the Barthelmé family, the current owners, who have been active in winemaking since 1654. Located in Wettolsheim on the Alsace Wine Route, each plot of the 25-hectare estate is individually cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles.

Colour

Powerful ruby with a dark core.

Nose

Dark cherries, wild berries such as blackberries and blueberries blend with subtly spicy notes of juniper and cloves, as well as some undergrowth and forest floor. With its concentrated nature and high intensity with dense aromas, this wine reflects the hot and dry vintage in Alsace right on the nose and draws the lips to the glass with anticipation.

Palate

The 2022 Pinot Noir from Albert Mann is also dense and powerful on the palate, with juicy, dense fruit and a generally high density. The juicy fruit is dark red with rich extract, while the acidity moderates in the background, flanking the fine, polished tannins that allow it to flow silkily across the palate. Aromatically complex with hedonistic fruit and a warm finish.
