Wine Information

L’Heravi is a cuvée of Cariñena (Carignan Noir, Samsó), Garnacha (Grenache Noir), and Syrah, vinified in concrete and stainless steel. The vines grow on calcareous, clayey, and gravelly soils at an altitude of 125 to 200 meters above sea level, less than 30 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. The Garnacha comes from 30-year-old vines, the Cariñena from 45-year-old vines, and the Syrah from 25-year-old vines.

Rich, bright purple red.

Nose

The 2021 L’Heravi Negre presents itself as fragrant, juicy, youthful, and fruity on the nose. Cinnamon cherries and sour cherries, violets, and a touch of black olive tapenade are found alongside maquis herbs, blackberries, and a hint of licorice. The youthful freshness immediately makes you want to take the first sip.

Palate

On the palate, the cuvée is pure, crystal-clear, juicy, and silky in its tannin structure. Yes, the wine glides across the palate with plenty of momentum, offering a fine grip and fresh acidity. The fruit comes alive with ripe and sour cherries, which are complemented by crisp wild berries and a dash of blood orange juice. It’s as uncomplicated as it is drinkable, offering plenty of energy.
