The Brisat concept thrives on Mediterranean identity and drinkability. A variety of local grape varieties, all of which grow quite high at 480 meters above sea level, are combined to create an overall picture: Grenache Blanc, Macabeo, Cartoixa, and Muscat. Long maceration times are essential. 50% is fermented with whole grapes, and the remaining half is destemmed. Fermentation takes place in large wooden fermentation stands and amphorae. The wine is then aged in horizontal concrete eggs.

Colour

Bright lemon yellow with deep orange reflections.

Nose

The 2022 Brisat thrives on a wild, exotic nose. Green mango and grapefruit underline this. Caramelized quince, along with all its facets of orange, forms the most dominant part of the nose. Orange blossoms, along with apple and almond, provide a soothing, soft element that culminates in elegance. Cinnamon and clove sneak in through the back door.

Palate

On the palate, it is powerful, but by no means overpowering. Its nutty, salty character is convincing thanks to umami. Behind it, citrus fruits reveal themselves in all their facets: orange, tangerine, grapefruit. Juice, peel, zest, and skin. Its tannins are soft and soothing. Despite all its intensity, it is still lean and almost racy. It becomes increasingly juicy and stimulating. The aromas also characterize the finish in a pleasant way.
