Wine Information

This rosé is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 20% Meunier, and 30% Chardonnay. The red grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, come from old vines in Ludes, and the Chardonnay from Villedommage. The wine is based on the 2022 vintage. Aging on the fine lees lasted 18 months until February 2025. The dosage is 4 grams.

Color

Intense, bright rosé with lively perlage.

Nose

Insouciance means something like carelessness or lightheartedness. You can easily indulge in that here. The opening is characterized by notes reminiscent of wild strawberries, cranberries, and red currants, blended with a hint of sourdough bread crust and a touch of flint. There are also hints of grapefruit and a touch of pepper.

Palate

On the palate, theInsouciance is lively and delicate, with an initial burst of ripe, crisp red fruits and citrus, embedded in a creamy mouthfeel. The perlage is agile and lively, the champagne juicy, powerful, fresh, and pure with a beautiful length.
