Nose
The 2018 Grande Cuvée Blanc de Blancs from Keller immediately captivates you. Juicy fruit aromas of apple, pear, quince, and Weinberg peach combine with pastry, saffron, brioche, and hazelnut notes. Subtle hints of algae and mussel shells are also present. A highly expressive, mineral opening.
Palate
Once on the tongue, you enjoy the invigorating perlage, which is wonderfully integrated into the juicy fruit and its spicy structure. The finest minerality, delicate salty notes, and a charming spicy note make it the perfect aperitif. Since Keller places great emphasis on excellent cuisine, it also pairs perfectly with fine dining.
