Colour

Dark purple with bright, violet reflections

Nose

The roasted aromas, especially coconut, are loudly present in the glass. Roasted coffee and tobacco leaves immediately follow suit. Black pepper and grated dark chocolate also complement it perfectly. Violet and hibiscus add intense, floral scents. Cassis, blueberry, and blackberry are clearly behind the other aromas. Tonka bean, cubeb pepper, and cinnamon present themselves alongside rosemary and sage. Dark buttered toast comes around the corner as if on cue. Burnt coconut wood and fir branches crackling in the fire round it off as it began.

Palate

Its fine tannin structure leaves a lasting impression. Smoothly melting and pleasantly fine-pored. It’s full of juice and crisply structured. Your tongue automatically clicks after every sip. Behind the tannin structure, it reveals itself as linear, cool, and mineral. Its smoky components and ethereal spice clearly precede the fruit on the palate. Contrary to the intense, dark nose, it appears balanced, almost shyly reserved, and seemingly still at the beginning of its career. The drinkability is definitely worth mentioning.
