Wine Information

The Corinto grape, which originates from Greece, grows at an altitude of 350 m on volcanic, sandy soil. The destemmed grapes are fermented for ten days in French barriques, with the grape caps submerged several times. Malolactic fermentation then takes place in 500-liter barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined after one year.

Muted ruby red with violet reflections.

Nose

The 2018 cuvée of Corinto and Nero d’Avola has a refreshing aroma of sour cherries, blueberries, violets, and Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and juniper. The invigorating fruity and herbal aroma is underscored by a subtle peppery note. A beautiful fragrance that oscillates between coolness and warmth, making this wine incredibly appealing.
