Description
The Pertois-Lebrun property was created through the marriage of Paul Pertois and Françoise Lebrun, who merged their families’ vineyards in 1955. Their daughter Odile took over the man-agement of the estate. She was followed in the fifth generation by her nephews Clément and Antoine. The two brothers, who grew up in Provence, complement each other perfectly. Clément is the nature lover who is converting the 44 plots and 9.5 hectares in the Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger, Chouilly, Oger and Oiry to organic farming, while Antoine has given up his career as a management consultant to take care of the business side of things. The excellent grapes from the old vineyards are now matured in stainless steel, wood or sandstone amphorae, depending on the cuvée. The brothers produce exclusively Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru with a lot of body, minerality, vibrancy and aromatic precision.
