The Luckert Winery is located in Sulzfeld in the former tithe farm. Dating back to 1558, the building owes its name to the fact that farmers used to have to pay tithes to the church here. Today, the VdP Luckert Winery – Zehnthof is one of the flagship wineries in Franconia and throughout Germany. Numerous awards, such as the recent one from Stuart Pigott in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, who named the winery one of the rising stars of the year, testify to the outstanding quality of the wines from the Main River. The wines of the brothers Ulrich and Wolfgang Luckert are characterized by incredible clarity and precision, shining with a unique style.

The 2022 Sulzfelder Berg Weisser Burgunder –Terrassen– 1G opens with a pure, intense, saline and chalky nose with lime zest, juice and stone aromas. Round, refined and elegant on the palate, this is a pure, tight but finessed and stimulatingly saline Pinot Blanc with a serious structure, intensity and length that is not based on alcohol but energy, terroir and viticulture. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in January 2024.
