Info

The cuvée consists of Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Welschriesling. “To” is the Hungarian word for lake and is thus a homage to Lake Neusiedl, which has a decisive influence on the region.

Colour

Brilliant golden yellow.

Nose

The 2021 TO exudes a very exotic aroma. Aromas of lime, papaya, sweet mango, and gooseberry combine with notes of tonka bean and vanilla foam. This exotic aroma is complemented by a citrus freshness, while the roasted notes of the skillful wooden barrel aging offer an exciting interplay. An extremely multifaceted aroma that arouses curiosity at first sip.

Palate

On the palate, it is creamy yet very refreshing. Its tart, fruity, and salty aroma awakens the appetite and evokes exotic dishes from a cuisine characterized by countless spices. A magnificent and extremely distinctive white wine from Velich!
