Sebastian Bordthäuser: The 2014 Currá is a classic Barbaresco with youthful, tart tannins and expansive fruit. With plenty of juice and smoothness, it captivates on the palate and is underpinned by aromas of bacon, bay leaf, and juniper. Its transparent freshness and delicate acidity make it the perfect Barbaresco for now—or while waiting for the 2016 vintage to ripen.
