The 2020 Hallgartener Hendelberg Riesling trocken 1G is pure, intense and complex in its deep, mineral and saline, nuanced expression of ripe fruit and crunchy phenols. Very fine and elegant yet also rich on the textured palate, with caramel nuances, this is a dense and mouth-filling yet detailed and refined Hendelberg Riesling with a long and salivating finish. This still-young Riesling is slowly opening up. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in January 2025.
